Membership

Thank you for your interest in Red River Quilters!

Anyone who is interested in the joy of quilt-making is welcome to join Red River Quilters. The guild is composed of quilters with various skill levels from people who are just learning to quilt to professional quilters.  Experienced quilters are eager to share their knowledge and expertise with beginner quilters. Join us and connect with our amazing group of quilters, form lifelong friendships and expand your skills.

 

Membership dues for individuals are $25 per year from January through December, and after July 1, the prorated fee for new members is $12.50.

Benefits of Membership:

·      Attend monthly meetings that will educate and inspire you (first Monday of every month) at 1:00pm or 6:00 pm and the location is Broadmoor Presbyterian Church at 1915 Grover Place, Shreveport, LA 71105

·      Receive a yearly directory of guild members

·      Receive monthly newsletter with complete information on guild activities

·      Participate in special workshops throughout the year

·      Check out books at the lending library

·      Sign up for early registration for workshops

·      Meet with smaller groups (Tributaries) to share the love of quilting

·      Join other members for a Pot Luck Social twice a year 

·      Experience Fun and Friendship!

How to Join:

1.     Download and print the membership form (Click button below to download).

2.     Complete the form and make your check payable to Red River Quilters.

3.     Mail your form and check to the person and address in the lower left corner of the form, or bring your paperwork to one of the guild meetings.

Not yet a member:

1.     Attend one of our monthly meetings! Guests are welcome and we would like to extend an invitation for you to come to one of our guild meetings. You will meet current members and have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with other quilters. The Red River Quilters meet on the first Monday of each month. (See Map Below for Location.)

2.     Simply show up, socialize with our current members and stay for the program. You do not need be invited by a member.

3.     Arrive about 15 minutes prior to the meeting so we can get you settled in and give you a Guest nametag.  The nametag has blue ribbons on in which signals other members that you are a guest and for them to welcome you to our meeting.

4.     Visit up to two times, if you wish, before becoming a member.
